Comments and love ...

I have been writing this blog for almost three years now and I love doing it and I have made some great and funny friends in the blogging world like "Linda Lou, Live from Las Vegas" (you have to check out her blog - she's hilarious, really hilarious). I just wish I had more time to devote to writing but a gal's also gotta work. Anyway, I have some followers, not hundreds, but whenever someone actually posts their picture and officially "follows" me it's like an injection of love and approval to my ego. Most of the comments I get are from my close friends, but once in a while someone will stop by and leave me a comment. This is a big thrill for me -- kind of like winning the Academy Award. That someone takes the time to tell me they like my stories or that I made them laugh is such a great feeling. So, the reason I'm going on and on is because the other day I got a comment from Enid. ENID - whoever you are, make yourself known because I LOVE YOU! She left me the coolest, nicest comment about a post I did on the Kardashian sisters. It's so nice when someone "gets" you. So, Enid, if you're out there THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for visiting me. And, just because I'm really curious about Enid, and all those who come by, please let me know me how you found me, etc. I'd love to know who you are!! And thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me and my twisted little mind. I LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU ALL. Truly.

SO LEAVE ME A COMMENT ALREADY!

  1. Debbie dear:
Your blog is so refreshing. Love the ranting and raving you do. And you do it so well. I agree with you on most every topic, although Viggo is all yours, baby.
You are adorable, as is your blog and I enjoy reading it. But forgive me. I'm busy with art projects so, not much time to reply and schmooze.

There's been times when I've read something you posted and just laughed out loud (and that's not common with much that I read even by those who try to be funny). As long as you keep posting, I'll keep reading.

  3. Awwww Debbie, you know I love you dearly, and I love your blog. You always write about something different, not the everyday run of the mill sort of stuff. Your rants can sometimes be my rants! Your childhood could be my childhood. We relate on so many levels (except Viggo of course), but I love you girl!!

  4. Saw your boyfriend in a movie the other day. Don't rememeber the name of the movie because...duh....nobody home upstairs...

Keep writing. If you wanna stay sane, keep writing...you just may be saving your husbands life by doing it.

    Love you,
    Marie

  5. Debbie, THANK YOU for the shout out! Wow.

Keep blogging, girlfriend. You'd be surprised at how many of us "get" you. And keep in mind that only a fraction of readers actually comments. I'm sure you have secret admirers all over the country. Maybe the world!

    XOXO

  6. Hi Debbie,
I read your post before and commented but I just came back from Linda Lou's blog. I really enjoy it. Thanks for sharing it. I'm trying to be more consistent with my blogging. I posted something you might be interested in on Heavenly Minded & Earthly Good, and I'd love to get your feedback before it gets pushed down due to my next post.

    All the best,

    Ruben

  7. Hi Debbie. Dawn in Upstate NY here. I had to drop you a line to let you know that I L-O-V-E your blog. You are absolutely gifted & hilarious, which is a pretty fantastic combination. I am happy to be your affirmation for the day! I found your blog while searching for a picture of Gino Vannelli to show my daughter someone I used to think was hot. Please keep writing as I so look forward to reading!

  9. Even though I am your baby seester, and bound by blood to support every thing that you do, I genuinely love your blogs. I have known how hilarious and authentically talented you are for 44 years, and now via this blog, so do many, many others... possibly even Viggo himself! So keep writing and entertaining the masses my big seester.
    Love you mucho & forever,
